João Fonseca

Senior Strategy & Corporate Development Manager, FIFA

João Fonseca holds a senior position in the Strategy & Corporate Development team at FIFA. Prior to FIFA he worked in the Executive Office of the Portuguese Football Federation. With a degree in Management and Business Administration from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, also holds diplomas from Harvard, UEFA and CIES (in Leadership, Sports Management and Business Analytics). In 2022 he was selected for the industry leaders’ UEFA MBA in Global Sports Governance (2022 – 2024). In 2021, he was elected the first ever President of the UEFA Academy Alumni Association for the term 2021/2023.
